3/17 Visit from the Reptile Man

The Reptile Man is coming to the BCC Campus! All families are invited to this educational and entertaining show. First, the Reptile Man will share about reptiles from all over the world, then kids will have the opportunity to touch and/or hold some of the incredible reptiles he brought with him.

3/31 BCC STEM Fair

Science-minded families: Look no further! Here's the perfect opportunity for your students to explore the scientific method and share their projects with others. 


Kids can display their own STEM or any other project and participate in the egg drop contest too. Plus, there will be paper airplanes and an Usborne Books STEM display!


Who: All BCC students grades K-12

4/21 School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts (SANCA) Excursion

Are your kids ready to join the circus ... well, for a couple of hours, anyway? Here's their chance to try out their circus skills at The School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts (SANCA).

Students will be broken into groups based on age, and will have the opportunity to try lots of equipment (age appropriate), including trampoline, hand balancing, partner acro, aerial fabric, aerial rope, lyra, trapeze, flying trapeze, unicycle, tightwire, rolling globe, german wheel, and juggling.

When: Friday, April 21 @ 10 am

Where: 674 S Orcas St, Seattle, WA 98108

5/5 Hydroelectric Plant Excursion

In 2008, the PUD bought a tiny, 6-foot-tall dam and powerhouse on Woods Creek near Monroe from a private utility company. The hydroelectric project is part of a newer approach to electricity, using small dams that do not affect the river's ecosystem to create power. The Woods Creek project creates enough power to run 300 homes.


When: Friday, May 5 at 10:00 am

Who: BCC students 3rd grade and up

Cost: Free

*Space is limited! There is no limit to # of attendees but we are only allowed to bring 9 cars.Carpooling with other students/families is highly recommended. More details and sign up available here.

5/19 BCC Spring Market

Join us for our second Spring Market event! The Spring Market is a school-wide event where student's and their families can showcase their unique skills and talents. Every BCC family is invited to host a table, where they can share or sell their homemade items. It provides an awesome opportunity for student's to experience the world of business and entrepreneurship. This event will be open to the community so invite your friends and family for an evening of fun!!
More details to be released as we get closer to the event. For now, save the date!
