NLO Plans to raise
Where do NLO PTSA funds go?
Directly back to our students, programs, and educators.
With budget cuts, there are unnmet needs at every school, and every PTA/PTSA is trying to fill the gaps to minimize their impact. Donations made to larger organizations, such as at a district level, benefit students across the whole district. NLO PTSA is a non-profit created specifically for NFP and NOA students.
NLO Educators
Teacher Stipends: Teaching in alternative learning environments has unique needs compared to traditional classrooms. We can support quality instruction through teacher stipends. On average, U.S. teachers spend over $500 of their own money, and with district budget cuts, we aim to help reduce this burden. Funds also go towards teacher appreciation efforts to boost morale.
Family and Community Events
PTA family and community events are important because they build connections between students, parents, and staff. They help families engage with the school, strengthen relationships, and improve communication. These events also boost school spirit and create a supportive, inclusive environment.
Corporate Matching
Many corporations, large and small (Microsoft, Boeing, Costco, etc.), will match donations made to non profit organizations like ours! Please check with your HR department to take advantage of this amazing program!

Tax Deduction
The PTSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.

Fred Meyer Rewards Program
Do you shop at Fred Meyer? Do you have a Fred Meyer rewards card? If so, you can add the NLO PTSA to your rewards account and the PTSA will receive money when you shop at no cost to you! Instructions are available here on how to add us to your account (we are listed as NFP Parent Cooperative in their system).
