Fundraising
The Bear Creek Campus PTSA has a goal to raise $15,000 in the 2024-2025 school year!
Where do BCC PTSA funds go?
Directly back to our students, programs, and educators.
With budget cuts, there are unnmet needs at every school, and every PTA/PTSA is trying to fill the gaps to minimize their impact. Donations made to larger organizations, such as at a district level, benefit students across the whole district. BCC PTSA is a non-profit created specifically for BCC students.
BCC Educators
Teacher Stipends: Teaching in alternative learning environments has unique needs compared to traditional classrooms. We can support quality instruction through teacher stipends. On average, U.S. teachers spend over $500 of their own money, and with district budget cuts, we aim to help reduce this burden. Funds also go towards teacher appreciation efforts to boost morale.
Family and Community Events
PTA family and community events are important because they build connections between students, parents, and staff. They help families engage with the school, strengthen relationships, and improve communication. These events also boost school spirit and create a supportive, inclusive environment. BCC PTSA fund the facility rental fees, prizes, party equipment rentals when necessary.
